- Perform quality control inspections for Piedmont Natural Gas distribution.

- Observe crews as they install both commercial and residential gas service lines.

- Steel and PE lines.

Overseeing and coordinating inspections across multiple areas, including utility systems, environmental compliance, welding, coating, civil infrastructure, and general utility operations. Ensures all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards through comprehensive inspections and reports. Supervises inspection teams, and communicates findings to ensure project success.

This role combines the responsibilities of all the specific inspection types into a single, overarching role, while highlighting leadership and multidisciplinary coordination.

- Verified and recorded that environmental conditions were within all required specifications for material application.

- Verified that surface preparation and anchor profile conformed to the required specifications.

- Verified that the dry film thickness was within the required specifications.

- Ensured that all pipe was checked for holidays before it was lowered in.

-Operate Heavy Equipment

-Supervise installation of environmental devices per plan specifications

-Supervise coating crew insuring application meets factory and pipeline owner specifications

-Adhere to OSHA standards or higher

-Supervise excavation and backfill of both in-use and new pipelines

-Organize and supervise ILI Anomaly Digs from start to finish

-Coordinate transportation of parts and materials

-Maintain communication between contractor, inspection team, and owner

-Build pads for natural gas drilling rigs

-Clear timber

-Load both on and off-road trucks

-Set up on-site grading instruments
