This position is a brand new position within EightTwenty. I was hired to come in and create and pioneer a Customer Success role that was designed to create "raving fans" out of our customers. During my time in this role, I was able to build the foundation for customer success. My main goal is to communicate with the customer as they hit milestones in the long solar installation process along with answering any questions that they have on the way. I communicated information and created an experience that would help the customer to love working with our company and would share their experience with those around them. I also created processes for the communication piece like spreadsheets and internal boards on who is getting communicated with and what is communicated so that we can follow up with the customer regularly and know the trends of what the customers are wanting and experiencing. I also served as the direct communicator on behalf of the CEO. I have constructed numerous emails on behalf of the CEO and sent them out to our customers about various topics.
I served as a Project Manager on a team where I alpha-tested new and incoming products and technologies before they were ready for general release. I built relationships with business owners and salespeople all over the country and worked with them to install and train on new equipment. Once business owners are set up with the alpha equipment, I worked with them to gather valuable feedback/issues, log data, and communicate it to the right people so that we can better the product before it moves into beta testing and make wiser decisions as we plan the future course of the business.
As a Sales Mentor, my primary job responsibility was to take all incoming new hires through a training process to maximize their sales skills and profits for them and the company. During their first week, I lead them through online workshops, and then for the next 2-3 months I trained them in a 1:1 setting to help them get more familiar with our products and to help sharpen their sales skills. I work closely with VPs and SVPs to ensure we all worked together to get their new people trained up and ready to launch into a successful career. I also help lead national calls where 100s of people would attend for training over various topics and products. I have built scripts, decks, and trainings to assist the sales force. While occupying the role of Sales Mentor, I was able to train and assist hundreds of sales professionals all over the country.
I also served as a Financial Counselor for college students at a local college in the OKC area where I helped students navigate paying for college and seeking financial aid if necessary. Before that, I served as a teller, personal banker, and mortgage closer for a local community bank.
