I have solid experience building concrete footers and pedestals for pipe racks and other industrial structures. I shoot grade for seal slabs, set stakes to establish proper elevation, and read blueprints to set accurate layouts for foundations, pedestals, surge vessels, compressors, cold boxes, and more.
I install and adjust forms, turnbuckles, clamps, spacers, and build custom forms when needed. I also shoot elevation for anchor bolts, set them in place, and ensure they’re plumb and level. I’ve worked on tank foundations, handling forms, anchor bolts, templates, and bushing small areas as required by the prints.
In addition, I’ve chipped, bushed, and cut around compressor areas, and made field adjustments to trenches when they were out of spec or too low. I take pride in making sure all work is accurate, clean, and ready for the next phase of construction.
I have hands-on experience in all stages of concrete work, including setting up boards, reading and following all types of blueprints, and shooting dirt elevations to prep for seal slab pours. I handle layout setup, install forms, turnbuckles, clamps, speed bolts, and shoes, and cut templates according to blueprint specs.
I also transfer layout lines using a torpedo level from string lines to pedestals for accurate placement. I’ve worked with several form systems like Alumna Forms, Emiba Forms, H-Forms, and Deco Forms, and I build custom forms when needed. I’ve used redwood and wooden forms for paving work and marked concrete tops for finishing.
My experience includes working on wing walls, table tops, and setting forms for a variety of structures. I’ve also chipped and bushed pedestals and grout pockets using a chipping hammer with bushing bits to ensure clean surfaces for grouting.
I have strong experience in all areas of concrete foundation work, including site prep, layout, building forms, and helping with concrete pours. I’ve worked on cutting and chipping piles, pouring and sealing slabs, and setting up boards at the base of forms. I use string lines to drop center points and read blueprints and layout plans to make sure everything is set up right.
I build and set forms for different types of structures, like foundations, pedestals, and modules. After the foundation is poured, I grout pockets and templates, lay out pedestals, and use clamps and transfer lines to align corners. I also use turnbuckles to level the sides of the forms.
On top of the forms, I mark the center points to line up the templates. I install anchor bolts and make sure they’re square using rise and run measurements and a calculator. I use a torpedo level to plumb the bolts and tie them down with wire. Before the pour, I make sure all bolts are tight and in the right place.
I help concrete finishers with pouring and sealing slabs, foundations, pedestals, and surge vessels. I also assist rod busters by tying, cutting, and placing rebar when needed.
I’ve worked with many types of form systems like Deco Forms, H-Forms, Emba Forms, and Alumna Forms. I’ve also built forms for modules, compressors, surge vessels, cold boxes, and E-Houses used in grout work.
I’m experienced with all kinds of tools, including drills, hammer drills, impacts, skill saws, sawzalls, adjustable drills, bandsaws, and many other hand and power tools used on the job.
