Lead Targeting Cell Intelligence Sergeant for the 3rd Special Forces Group (3SFG) Advanced Operations Base (AOB) in Niamey, Niger - May-December 2023


  • Managed 3 targeting analysts responsible for illuminating the organizational structure of numerous terrorist organizations, locating key leadership for capture/kill operations, & providing intelligence support to all sections of the AOB.
  • Managed the AOB common operational picture (COP) involving manually ingesting over a thousand intelligence reports & detailed updates on operationally significant developments into an interactive graphic.
  • Pursued corroborating multi-source intelligence on key individuals to reveal their affiliations with terror groups & defended the findings to senior leadership in order to create actionable targets.
  • Assisted in the creation of detailed collection plans for aerial assets in order to discover terrorist bed down locations (BDLs), logistical routes, and strongholds in areas of interest.
  • Continuously monitored & researched foreign state actor military activity within our area of operations using a variety of collection methods & intelligence tools/databases.
  • Collaborated with Psychological Operations experts to monitor various political movements & state actor misinformation campaigns following the July 2023 military coup d'etat in NIger.
