Determine/recommend if a non-material approach or a material approach is required to fill a capability gap identified in the Functional Needs Analysis (FNA), to include the entire life cycle, the sustainment of the systems. Ensure that the Capability Production Document (CPD) captures the information necessary to support production, testing, and deployment of an affordable and supportable increment within an acquisition strategy. Ensure that CPD identifies, in threshold/objective format, the specific attributes that contribute most significantly to the desired operational capability. Deploys with the acquisition team to all enhanced Brigade locations, supervises the full installation of equipment, assist in the training and schedule of all systems, and assures that the unit and servicemen are satisfied with the systems. Evaluate system sustainment and follow up with solutions to system issues or delays 24/7.
Coordinates with senior HQ DA officials on the strategy of sustaining ASAS until its assimilation within the Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) program, represents INSCOM for all All-Source Analysis Forums. Assist in the implementation of Information Sharing Environment policies and processing of intelligence systems for the enhanced intelligence brigades to support Global War on Terrorism; and also support the law enforcement agencies in acquiring much-needed report for information documents, information sharing intelligence systems access, and training in the DCGS and CI HUMINT systems. Train law enforcement analyst in the law enforcement intelligence systems for which access is needed (e.g., RISSNET, LEO, HSIN, National LET system) Capabilities, functions, and features of the analytic capability including skills for analysis, analytic software, and special skills (shortcuts) needed for the systems. Teach, guide, and mentor analysts to create charts and accompanying processes sufficient to understand the two-way information flow for the intelligence structure. Foster and build solid relationships with trust and honesty, a bridge builder for future projects and commitment for upcoming missions. Monitors and develops resources and policies for intelligence training. Teach analysts to recognize the value of sharing intelligence information within your own agency, and encourage the practice of sharing information with other law enforcement and public safety agencies.
