  • Perform functional tests of three different styles of oxygen regulators: diaphragm, piston, and slow-opening valves.
  • Functional test of lever actuation force, relief valve assemblies, and ensure no leaks are above acceptable leakage per CMM's testing criteria.
  • Utilize and safely operate oxygen test stands to perform all testing criteria required by manufacturers.
  • Usage of calibrated tools such as wrenches, flow meters, altitude chambers, and Hi/Low pressure regulators.
  • Able to quickly and confidently identify symptoms and faults of aircraft components, helping to utilize proper corrective actions to ensure the unserviceable aircraft component is ready to be returned to service.
  • Properly disassemble aircraft components to perform external, internal, and hidden damage inspections.
  • Discarding or disposing of parts that are instructed to be done so by the manufacturer during disassembly. Ensuring the safety of the unit is not in question during assembly.
  • Assemble aircraft components to manufacturer configuration, utilizing oxygen-safe lubricants, torque values, fitting configuration, and alignment configuration to ensure that the aircraft to which the component is returned will be able to be installed as intended.
  • Overhaul and repair of oxygen regulators in accordance with the manufacturer's Component Maintenance Manual.
