As a carpenter foreman I take a big role turning units over to ownership. I do my observations on Procore and push subs to getting the job done. Then I get a crew of my own carpenters usually from Temp agencies to work on what I call all trade damage. If the subs don't meet the due dates then my crew goes and address the item. I am very detail oriented so after items are all completed I do one last walk-through with usually just touchup paint before a final clean. I have strong communication skills so subs usually get the job done so we don't have to backcharge.

As a carpenter I started out doing back out framing. Then got pulled into doing Punch for turning units over to ownership. Easy clean work like caulking and painting, cleaning, fixing damage baseboard with Bondo replacing LVT or any kind of flooring. Also adjusted cabinet doors or drawers making sure the doors are latching right installing appliances and unjamming garbage disposals, putting in window screens,adjust windows basically addressing anything that can be fixed in the unit.
