• Coordination of Division construction projects

with other utilities, contractors, pipeline material suppliers, municipal, county and state

agencies, customers, and other Company personnel.

• Oversight and supervision of Company inspectors

assigned to inspect ongoing construction work and ensure compliance with Engineering

Department specifications.

• Manage and oversee personnel processes, procedures, and issues.

• Assist in with preparation of construction budget proposals.

• Provide a detailed "as-built" record of all completed construction work to the Engineering

Department.

• Assess progress of construction projects and implement Change Orders where appropriate.

Coordinate major change orders with the Engineering Department. Ensure continuing

project progress and timely completion.

• Provide adequate safety and job training for all Company employees. Ensure compliance

with OSHA safety regulations and the Company's safety program.

• Oversee Division inventory levels to ensure efficient and timely stocking of materials

necessary for maintenance and construction projects.

• Oversee material orders to verify that adequate quantities and types of materials are on

hand, as needed.

• Oversee the Company's safety program and ensure compliance with OSHA safety

regulations.

• Assist in customer support matters including overseeing

service establishment, preparing preliminary cost estimates, resolving high bill complaints,

among other support.

• Assist system management personnel with scheduling maintenance and repairs and coordinating work schedules of other employees assigned to water production and treatment.
• Provide on-site training and supervision to all employees assigned to water production and treatment.
• Supervise the day-to-day operation and maintenance of production, treatment, storage and recharge facilities as applicable.
• Train Water Treatment Operators to troubleshoot and perform repairs to pumping equipment, controls and water treatment equipment.

• Train UW III employees to complete work according to standard practices.
• Assist UW III employees as size and complexity of job may require.
• Work involves general operation and maintenance of the water distribution system, installation of additional facilities such as mains, services, hydrants, and auxiliary fittings.
• Record any system or equipment changes on maps and records.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance according to standard practice schedules on all pumps and equipment.
• Install new or replacement service lines.
• Maintain and control appropriate level of inventory and supervise the receiving and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Be proficient on inventory control paperwork.

• Day-to-day operation and maintenance of all production, treatment, storage, and recharge facilities as applicable.
• In the absence of the Water Treatment Operator 4, provide on-site supervision to all employees assigned to water production and treatment.
• Troubleshoot and repair problems related to pumping equipment, controls and water treatment facilities.
• Collect compliance, process control, and other necessary water samples related to water distribution system and water production and treatment facilities.
• Assist Water Treatment Operator 4 in providing on-site training to other employees assigned to water production and treatment.
• Respond to water production and treatment emergencies.

• General operation and maintenance of the water distribution systems, installation of additional facilities such as mains, services, hydrants, and auxiliary fittings.
• Record any system or equipment changes on maps and records.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance according to standard practice schedules on all Distribution facilities. Install new or replacement service lines.
• May be responsible for materials and supplies inventory and applicable paperwork.

• Read meters regularly according to schedule.
• Record reading for ALL meters on a handheld meter reading device ("HMRD") or on read sheets for the proper account.
• Refer customer complaints or questions to local office when reader cannot answer promptly/correctly.
• Note unusual conditions by entering appropriate codes on HMRD, such as high/low reads, stopped, damaged or meters in need of repair, leaks observed and courtesy turn offs performed, meters which are found running and with high consumption, stolen meters, broken angle stops, etc.
• Either prepare written report after downloading HMRD or if the situation warrants, report unusual condition immediately to the Division office.
• Track dwelling types and numbers of units at facilities with master meters for the purpose of maintaining accurate counts by dwelling type for the Arizona Department of Water Resources.
• Change all types and sizes of meters.

• Will assist with the general maintenance of the water distribution system including, but not limited to, meter change-outs, water main and water service repair/replacement, and water storage tank maintenance.
• Works independently on general property maintenance (painting, cleaning, sorting, etc.), customer notifications, 1-inch and smaller meter change-outs, and other work not requiring continuing direction or supervision.
