Perform daily crane inspections including cables, wire ropes, hooks, slings and other crane components Prepare, update and maintain logs, records and crane maintenance schedules

• Scrapped off excess metal using portable grinders and arc-cutting equipment

• Repaired structures by reshaping and reassembling metal components with cutting torches and hand

tools.

• Prepared broken parts for welding by properly grooving and scarfing surfaces.

• Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water or abrasive

blasting.

• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.

• Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, scrappers, brushes, steel wool or sanding machine.

• Understand proper spray techniques and spray gun maintenance.

• Spray paint metal, composite, and plastic structures in a controlled environment.

• Set up spray pumps and guns to particulate pressure and adjust spray patterns.
