As a National Guard Cadet, I'm attached to an Infantry Unit to which I'm learning to become an Army Officer.
As a Cannon Crew Member in the United States Army National Guard, you work one weekend per month and, I did anything from lifting 100lb Artillery shells on a daily basis, loading the shells, maintain the Howitzer, firing the M777, driving LMTV(Utility Vehicles/Humvee), operating cranes for ammo distribution, cleaning and maintenance, inventory, radio programming/communications, Primary checks maintenance and services, and much more.
Supported the Marching Band throughout Drills, Warm=ups, and Shows; This was achived by regulating positions on the field, ensuring safety amongst fellow students, and by tending to the direction of Equipment.
Monitored and developed the musical and marching progress of the band through leadership and group activities
Tailored to the needs of the show and fellow students by addressing any need for equipment and items
