Fuyao Glass America

In 2019, as the site leader in installing the recycle water treatment project for Fuyao Glass America (FGA). Overall, deal with 240 m3 of wastewater per hour and save tons of resources. That system is automation control and multiprocessing, with a total cost of around 2 million. I was involved in all steps from process design, model selection, and equipment layout to PLC auto control and sample test. The electric control cabinet was almost build by myself.

Jushi Fiberglass
My employer Bestwater as the general contractor, was providing all plumbing and mechanical staff for Jushi company in South Carolina in late 2019. I was in charge of the stainless steel structure installation manager—scheduled tasks for around 50 workers and subcontractors. Arrange the tooling and equipment like welders and boom lifts. Investigate the drawings with Woolpert, a famous design institute. In late 2019, as the associate manager to help the project at Jushi America in South Carolina.

Fuyao Glass Illinois
In 2020, because of the excellent performance of our job in FGA, Fuyao purchased another project for about 3 million for its new facility preparation in Illinois. This project includes the utilities for the factory and part of the equipment installation. I was in charge of the Project Manager. We did the plumbing, compressor, trench, and recycle water systems for the solar glass production line. Under the pressure of time and owner demanders, We accomplished the project before the deadline and ensured the production line started on time.

Hailiang Copper Group

In late 2020, the facility of Hailiang copper company in Houston, TX will be under construction. I was involved in the foundation construction. To meet the customer demand, I wrote multiple times the plumbing and mechanical construction proposal. That was a hard time to communicate with the engineer of Hailiang in China and convert the demand and ideas to the native workers. Influence of the Covid, the drawing designer could not be on-site, so meeting online is the only way we can solve the problem.

Minth North America

In 2021, Month company in Tennessee was establishing an electroplating production line. The equipment supplier and general contractor were PAC from Taiwan. It was a 20 million project, but under the impact of the Covid, PAC didn't have enough workers and professional engineers. I am pretty good at automation and site management, so Bestwater sends my team as a subcontractor to help with the production line. The work here is all-around automatic; there were six main control cabinets, hundreds of dosing pumps, and thousands of sensors and switches for this line. I was in charge of the control specialist, led to installing of equipment, sensors, power wire, and control wire, and tested them all. Aucos provided the automation software from Germany. Still, they were not on site all time, so sometimes, I also had to be a programmer to coordinate the automation process.

Yinlun TDI
In 2022, the last project, I was involved in the automatic welding line at Yinlun TDI in IL. I was in charge of the robot specialist to train the Yaskawa welding robot and communicate with the PLC. Because of the error of the robot trace with the tooling after calibration. I have to modify almost all the trace code. Since the quality of the tooling was not satisfactory, we got a lot of modifications on site. Besides, I also reprogrammed the PLC control codes to let them meet the safety requirement of the USA.
