Hymn Selection:

• Make sure that hymns, preludes, postludes, and other music that will be used in worship are appropriate. By aligning musical selections with the liturgical calendar and themes with the clergy or worship leaders.

Collaboration with choirs and musicians:

• Plan and rehearse musical selections with the choir director. Also, ensure a cohesive and harmonious presentation by working with soloists and other instrumentalists.

Congregational Song Leading:

• Lead the congregation in singing hymns and worship songs during church services. Consider the hymn text when registering and reharmonizing the organ to complement the worship atmosphere.

Music for special events:

• Learned acting and dancing skills required for dramatic singing roles. Perform special music for weddings, funerals, and other ceremonies.

Organ maintenance:

• Maintain the church organ regularly with parson's maintenance to ensure it is in good working condition.

Meetings and rehearsals:

• Attend rehearsals, meetings, and planning sessions with the church's music ministry team. Updated worship service schedules will be posted on this page.
