• Article name: Covalent binding of thioredoxin to TXNIP is required for diet-induced insulin resistance in the liver.
• In this project, mainly animal experiments are conducted, so I know how to perform surgery, harvest, and OCT embedding. and regular biochemistry and cell bio experiment

Currently working on four projects.

• MELAS project: Working on a novel mitochondrial gene editor system (mEditorS) based on the prime editing system, trying to introduce and remove mitochondrial DNA variants/mutations
• Collaboration project with postdoc Surabhi Sreenivas at the MCB department of Harvard, studying GR-ARRDC4 and β2AR-ARRDC3 pairs in HepG2 and Hek293T cells.
• Collaboration project with an AI lab from South Korea, set up assays with co-expression of tagged TRX and tagged Txnip.

• Executed molecular and cellular biology techniques, including gel electrophoresis and PCR.
• Performed cardiac tissue harvesting, embedding, and immunostaining for analysis.
• Contributed to project on cardiac fibroblasts' regulation of myocardium and coronary vasculature development.

• Designed course materials and problem sets in collaboration with faculty to meet learning objectives.
  Created quizzes, assignments, and study guides to improve student comprehension.
  Conducted structured review sessions prior to exams, customizing explanations for diverse learning preferences.
  Delivered one-on-one tutoring and office hour assistance for students needing additional support.

• Set up regular reactions for synthesis involving oxygen-sensitive and temperature-sensitive compounds.
• Trained to separate chemicals using column chromatography and perform NMR analysis.
• Participated in making unstable molecules for advanced synthetic applications.
• Contributed to project on iron-catalyzed propargylic C–H functionalization for synthesis of 1,3-enynes.

Facilitated instruction on genetics, evolution, and ecology for 200 undergraduate students per semester.
Created quizzes, study guides, and recitation activities to solidify comprehension of core content.
Conducted weekly discussions with around 40 students, focusing on problem-solving and interactive learning.
