The Glass and Aluminum Supervisor oversees the installation, fabrication, and maintenance of glass and aluminum products. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, and coordinating projects from inception to completion.

Swing /Sliding Door Installation:Oversee the measurement, cutting, and installation of glass swing doors, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.

Mirrors and Decorative Glass Installation:Oversee the installation of mirrors and decorative glass elements in commercial and residential settings.

Shower Door Installation:Manage the installation of frameless and framed shower doors, ensuring watertight seals and smooth operation.

Balustrade and Railing Systems:Supervise the installation of glass balustrades and railings, ensuring compliance with safety codes and aesthetic requirements.

Repair and Maintenance:Oversee repair and maintenance activities for existing glass and aluminum installations, including glass replacement and frame repairs.

Mullion Cutting and Installation:Measure and cut aluminum mullions to precise specifications for curtain walls or window systems, ensuring structural integrity and alignment.

Reading and Interpreting Drawings:Analyze architectural and engineering drawings to understand dimensions, materials, and installation requirements, ensuring accurate execution of designs.

Silicone Application:Apply silicone sealant to joints and seams during installations to provide waterproofing and air sealing, ensuring long-lasting performance and energy efficiency.

Setting and Aligning Frames:Position and secure aluminum frames, ensuring they are level and square before final fastening, to achieve a professional finish.

Adjusting Hardware:Install and adjust hardware such as hinges, locks, and handles on glass and aluminum installations to ensure smooth operation and security.

Weatherproofing:Implement weatherproofing techniques, including installing gaskets and using caulking materials to protect installations from environmental elements.

Final Inspection and Quality Control:Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations, checking for aesthetic consistency, structural stability, and functionality.

On-site Problem Solving:Troubleshoot and resolve any unexpected challenges during installation, such as misalignments or material discrepancies, to maintain project timelines.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of installations, including measurements, materials used, and any issues encountered, for future reference and quality assurance.

Safety Compliance Checks:Conduct safety compliance checks during installations to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and best practices.
