Reading, swimming, hiking

I enjoy working with children and seeing them learn and progress. While in high school, I started my grade school track team and coached it for three seasons. Many students saw outstanding results such as going to state competition as an eighth grade student, and another student going to China to participate in competitions there. I received a full athletic scholarship to college for track and field. Currently, I enjoy walking with my two dogs, swimming in the sun, and reading various types of literature. Charles Dickens is my favorite English author, and Mark Twain (Samuel Langhorn Clemens) is my favorite American author.
