Accomplishments

  • Volunteer youth leader for Sanctuary-Teen Support Group; sponsored by Bayside Church in Granite Bay. Sanctuary responded to youth with often serious life challenges without normal outlets for support.
  • Instrumental in developing SAMHSA-funded Drug Diversion program by organizing curriculum and paperwork processes, connecting with parents, counselors and assistant principals at the school sites and welcoming often resistant teens into the class. This program tripled in size after the pilot year under my leadership.
  • Assisted the five Greater Sacramento Division Dignity Hospitals with interviewing, hiring recommendations, training, and ongoing support to 5 new SUN's.
