Currently, I leverage my expertise as a former partner with the lawfirm of Malman, Malman and Rosenthal by operating my own legal practice, where I primarily focus on consulting with other lawyers to develop effective legal strategies. My specialization in litigation organization allows me to contribute valuable insights and support.
As an online educator and mentor, I design and deliver engaging lessons for a diverse student body in Spain, Portugal, and France. By developing creative and adaptable lesson plans tailored to various learning styles and cultural backgrounds, I enhance student engagement and understanding. In addition to teaching, I mentor students and fellow educators, providing guidance and resources to support both personal and academic growth within the program. I collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience, leveraging innovative teaching strategies to inspire a love for learning across digital platforms.
In response to the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, founded the not-for-profit BrightCasters to support students and teachers struggling in its aftermath. Our mission is to cultivate mindfulness and a focus on positivity, providing essential tools and resources to help individuals develop emotional resilience and well-being. Through a variety of programs and workshops, BrightCasters aims to foster a supportive community dedicated to healing and personal growth.
In this role, I taught Advanced Placement Research, AICE Global Perspectives and English to grades 9-12, focusing on college-level research, argumentative writing, and presentation skills. I also taught Honors Comprehensive Law, where we explored the intricacies of the American legal system and civil and criminal justice. I also had the pleasure of coaching the school's Moot Court and Mock Trial teams for competitions. I marketed and recruited students for the Cambridge AICE and Pre-law magnet program. Seamlessly transitioned to distance learning during Covid, engaging students via Google Meet and Zoom to support their academic and emotional well-being.
As a partner at the law firm, I specialized in criminal and civil litigation with a focus on general litigation. My role involved conducting comprehensive legal research and writing, as well as organizing complex federal and state litigation matters. I developed particular expertise in the computer organization and preparation of courtroom demonstrative aids, enhancing the clarity and effectiveness of our presentations. Additionally, I was responsible for managing all business and administrative functions of the firm, ensuring smooth operations and strategic growth.
