· Provide phase 1 and phase 2 recovery care in accordance with ASPAN standards to patients in a PACU setting who have received anesthesia or moderate sedation in the Operating Room, Interventional Radiology, and Cardiac Catheterization Lab. · Acting charge nurse on designated shifts, making patient assignments, facilitating bed transfers, and maintaining awareness of each patient situation on the unit.

· Care for patients stepping down from the Intensive Care Unit and provide a healthy, safe, and efficient transition from the critical condition to the stable condition and/or discharge from the hospital. · Titrate IV medication therapy including: Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Insulin, Narcan, Integrilin, Furosemide, Levophed. · Serve as preceptor for new nurses orienting to the unit.
