- As a Receiving Operator, I am certified to operate forklifts to transport pallets throughout the warehouse in a timely manner. I am specifically in charge of unloading pallets off of a cart, scanning them using a PKMS system, loading them onto a conveyer belt, which then are taken by a crane. As part of the forklift certification I also frequently operate a separate machine to change the battery. Safety measures are also ensured by doing a checklist before I operate any lift and wearing proper protection equipment at all times.
