As Coastal Middle and High School is a private, non-profit place of education, I aid students in preparing for "real life" situations while helping them earn their high school standards certification or GED. Subsequently, I prepare students for college-level courses or technical certifications where applicable. Currently at Coastal, I teach Art History, Creative Writing, English, and World History.

My traditionally published debut novel, SPIN THE SKY, has received several glowing reviews from reputable journals such Kirkus, School Library Journal, VOYA, and Teen Vogue Magazine.
