I have been at my current job where I am responsible for the daily scheduling of trucks, preparing shipping documents, communicating with customers, and keeping everything running smoothly. I oversee all freight invoicing and discrepancies with invoices. I am responsible for carrier relations and quarterly rate negotiations. Duties also include the below but are not limited to.

  • In charge of coordinating daily dispatch operations to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Supported team in managing communication between drivers and yard staff.
  • Monitored inventory levels to assist in scheduling and planning deliveries accurately.

  • While working at Lifetime I held a few different jobs. I was the main logistics scheduler for several large retail accounts. Responsibilities included routing, scheduling with carriers via phone and email, processing all shipping documents, while providing support to the sales team and customers.

I also worked in the OS&D/Compliance Dept.

  • Responsible for dealing with all issues after product had been shipped from our facility.
  • Issuing returns for damaged and lost product. Scheduling returns with the carriers and processing all necessary paperwork.
  • Communicating with Customers and Carriers to correct miss ships and any other issues.
  • Also responsible for making sure accounts were following all compliance guide lines set forth by our customers.
