Jim Petrik

With 15 years of teaching experience in Bismarck Public Schools and a master's in curriculum and instruction, I have developed strong skills in creating engaging, student-centered learning environments that foster intellectual, social, and emotional growth. I excel in developing and modifying instructional plans to meet diverse student needs, assessing progress, and maintaining an organized and effective classroom. My leadership as the head girls’ basketball coach at Legacy High School for the past 10 years has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, mentor students, and cultivate teamwork and discipline. Additionally, my experience in collaborating with staff, parents, and the community allows me to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere where students can reach their full potential
