Regional Business Director (Southwest Region)

  • Responsible for the hiring, development and sales performance of (9) clinical device sales representatives located in the Southwest Region (3 states; TX, CO and New Mexico). Our focus is selling a visco-supplement injectable medical device Synvisc and Synvisc One to treat osteoarthritis pain in the knee to Orthopedic Surgeons, Sports Medicine, Rheumatologist and Pain Management Physicians. This device is primarily billed through the “buy and bill” model and is heavily contracted. With the contracting aspect, call points also included hospital systems, IDNs, GPOs, C-suite personnel and VA DOD accounts. Develop and execute business plans to ensure growth through collaboration with all internal partners (Market Access, Inside Sales Team and the Clinical Team). This region is accountable for over $30 million in revenue.

This includes collaboration with all internal partners (National Accounts, Reimbursement Team and the Clinical Team). Also launched/co-promoted a first in class drug, Veltassa, for the treatment of hyperkalemia and Multaq for patients who have suffered AFib (Cardiologists).
