Skills

  • Proficient in 3D CAD modeling, including CATIA V5/V6
  • Strong understanding of CAD principles and best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 software functionality

Personal Projects

Dual Axis Solar Tracker System

  • Designed and developed a Dual Axis Solar Tracker System as part of an independent project.
  • Implemented a tracking mechanism that autonomously adjusts the position of solar panels to optimize their orientation towards the sun throughout the day increasing the calculated annual energy gain by 48.982% when compared to an immobile solar panel.
  • Developed a dual axis system that autonomously adjusts solar panels on both horizontal and vertical axes increasing the annual energy gain by 36.504% when compared to a single axis system.

Presentations

Speaker at SAE Conference on Lightweight Materials and Design in Automotive Applications

  • Presented on the topics of lightweight materials and design in automotive applications, as well as advances in electric vehicle battery technology.
  • Explored the latest developments and trends in lightweight materials, such as composites, aluminum alloys, and high-strength steels, and their impact on vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions reduction.
  • Discussed the benefits and challenges associated with the integration of lightweight materials in automotive components, such as body structures, chassis, and interior features.
