I had an opportunity to take on a large contract and stay in Boise, instead of working on the road, so I took it. The project is now complete, and the client is waiting to see next year's economic outcome before assigning additional contracts.

• Renovated 125 apartment units & 3 Clubhouses and another $250k of various capital improvement projects.
• Organized and supervised subcontractors, laborers, and vendors during the building process.
• Monitored progress of projects to ensure they stayed within budget and timeline requirements.
• Managed multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high levels of quality and customer service was maintained across all jobsites.
• Communicated regularly with clients regarding progress updates and changes that may arise during the course of a project.

• Multi-Family Building Siding & Exterior Renovations. 6 projects: $1m-$10m in value
• Responsibilities for each project included: scheduling, staffing, purchasing, risk management, safety, permitting, and Walkthrough.
• Used Microsoft Project for Master Schedules/CPM's and Excel for 3-week look ahead. Published weekly.
• Pre-con/Weekly meetings with stakeholders
• Developed COR, RFI and Timekeeping processes.
• Analyzed blueprints and spec's to identify take-off's, manpower and subcontractors needed.
• Submitted RFI's when plans where incorrect.
• Maintained safety standards by completing daily toolbox talks
• Identified and reviewed all Proposed Change Order Requests.
• Assisted owners in budgeting, bidding and award of sub contracts.
• Asserted control over material usage and contractor man-hours to keep projects in line with budgetary restrictions.
• Inspections and finals with local building officials

• Completed 16 projects (9 hotels & 7 Multi-Family developments) approximately $100 million in value.
• Superintendent for T&T, Framing & Plumbing divisions. Manage staff (20 to 50+) and subcontractors. Monitor QA and safety constantly.
• Redline prints for current & future projects.
• Work with drafters, engineers to update BIM to streamline production and Monitor code compliance for each project (we build for multiple states).
• Develop faster production methods, training methods and schedules
• Assist in managing purchasing & inventory using lean methods

• Started this with two friends. It was always his passion, and I had the time to help. We worked together at Clayton.
• Bob and I designed the BBQ Shack together. It reminded us of our time growing up in the South. At the time, we were the first one!

• I specialized in online presence, speeding up production, and managing our employees.
• Bob passed in Jan 2016, and we decided to shut down and sell off the equipment.
