Began my work here as a Heavy Equipment operator. I quickly made my way up to Lead Operator. Soon after I got promoted to Operations Foreman overseeing day-to-day operations. US ecology was purchased by Republic Services were my title was changed to Operations Supervisor.

Job Duties :

• Making sure operations run smoothly and safely at all times.
• Interviewing,hiring, and training employees
• Planning, assigning, and directing work in accordance with customer and site needs.
• Making schedules for all employees and time keeping.
• Evaluate operations to control costs
• Support accident investigations and prepare related paperwork.
• Address customer concerns with suitable solutions.
• Enforce federal, state, local, and company rules for safety and operations.
• Motivate and evaluate personnel for performance improvement.
• Guide personnel on understanding and meeting customer needs and expectations.
• Protect company assets through maintenance and PM scheduling.
• Mentor and train personnel.
• Work with government agencies to ensure we are following regulations and stay in compliance. (RRC)
• Coordinate with other management, combining group efforts to achieve goals
• Developed action plans based on analysis findings and implemented solutions.
• Provided support to other departments as needed to meet organizational goals.

• Checked equipment for defects before and after shift and submitted report indicating equipment condition.
• Used equipment to complete jobs quickly and correctly.
• Mixed incoming waste on receiving pad with front end loader.
• Loaded up trucks with mixed material to haul off to the the staging area with an excavator.
• Operate off road ADT to haul material
• Operate dozer to keep all cell roads clean and graded at all times. Also level out and keep the cell clean.
• Operate long reach excavator to mix out all liquids in pits.
• Helped train and mentor new hires with minimum experience.
• When short handed, helped out doing washouts.

• Used equipment to complete jobs quickly and correctly.
• Kept equipment fueled and ready to for immediate use to support scheduling demands.
• Checked equipment for defects before and after shift and submitted reports indicating equipment condition.
• Built lease roads going into sites.
• Put in cattle guards using forklift.
• Performed grading of site land and smoothed surfaces as part of projects or finish work.
• Used dozer to build ditches and reserve pits.
• Operated Cat 631 scraper to move material and build up elevations where needed.
• Operated pad foot/flat wheel rollers to compact roads. Also sub finish grades on pads.
• Operated motor grader to grade and spread out rock.
• Operate skid steer/ backhoe to clean up sites.
• Used excavator to dig pipelines and hold up pipe for welders.
• Clear out right -away's and backfill pipeline trenches with the dozer
• Build fence lines around facilities and put in silt fencing.
