- Processing of the raw material to be able to extract heparin. The process includes using monitors and valves to add chemicals and enzymes into reactors to set the proper PH.
- Daily use of forklift to move resin pallets and to load and unload semi truck trailers.
- Use of a shag truck to move tankers in and out of the facility.
- The unloading of NaOH, NaCl, and HCl tankers to be used in the plant. This includes the sampling and testing against the provided certificate of analysis.
