Posted at Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald House housed seriously sick children. Hospital's from all over the world would send there children who needs to see specialists to be treated and housed. I would be posted in the lobby. I worked over night. It was a 24hour facility. When slow I'd help house keeping by bring up clean sheets in a bin that was delivered twice a week. When starting my shift I'd get there early to straighten up the dinning room chairs and tables. Which was closed at night preparing it for opening the next morning. Before I called Dispatch to inform them I'm on post. I'd walk each floor security perimeter check at the same time I'd pick up things off the floor. Empty trash cans. Sort of an "OCD" Like things in its place nice and neat.
While posted there in the lobby I would keep instruct clients that they could not be on there cell phones while sitting that if they had to be on there cells that they would have to go outside the office in the haway. Would have to break up fights. When fights were very very serious would call the police. When closing up at 5pm would help staff clean up by sweeping. Empty trash cans. Straighten up the lobby chairs. Mop stains off the floor. Where I can be of help cause the staff was very very nice and I wanted to help them clean up.
