Research Contributions

 Conducted a research on the title “Perception of Genetic counselors practicing effective communication skills in Counseling Patients, U.A.E” and won the First Place in “The 3rd RAKMHSU Student Scientific Conference “on the theme “Genetic Diseases in the United Arab Emirates. The research has been selected to the National Level. It was presented for the “3rd National Genetic Diseases Conference 2012”, held on the 9th of May, 2012, Special Recognition and Award was given by The His Highness.
 A research was conducted on the topic “Functional Independence Measures for Children (WeeFIM) with Genetic Disorders at Rehabilitation Center, RAK” and presented in The 3rd RAKMHSU Student Scientific Conference.
 Done a research on “Level of awareness among the patients of Breast cancer with Genetic Predisposition that their family members are at a higher risk” and successfully presented in the 4th RAKMHSU Student Scientific Conference
 Done research on “Effectiveness of structured teaching on the knowledge of prevention of respiratory tract infection (RTI) among caregivers of under-five aged children in Saqr Hospital, RAK”, which has been approved and won the 2nd Prize in the 5th RAKMHSU Scientific Conference. It is going to be published in the Public Medical Journal.
 A literature review was done on the topic “Innovative and Creative  Teaching and Learning Strategies: Effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Nursing Education” and it got approved and selected to participate in the First International Nursing Students Conference, organized by Oman nursing Institute under MOH, Oman
