  • Company Overview: Sushila Organics LLC is a 56 acres family farm owned by Mr. Vincent Reed and Ms. Jyotshna Reed, established as an ecologically regenerative and biologically diverse multi-production farm located at Buckholts TX.
  • I developed a comprehensive land use map of the farmland.
  • Arranged for clearing the entire farmland which was hitherto a dense treed area.
  • Planned and managed installation of 5 feet tall, barbed wire fencing of the entire farm.
  • Established a 95’ x 35’ high tunnel for high value off-season crop farming.
  • Procured farm equipment (50 HP tractor with a long trailer, a power tiller, and other farm implements.
  • Installed a prefabricated farmhouse and a barn.
  • Arranged for cleaning and manuring the two fishponds.
  • Developed a comprehensive business plan.
  • Arranged to receive some technical and material support from USDA.

  • Company Overview: The Afghanistan Ministry of Economy (MoEc) has started implementing the World Bank funded EZ-Kar Project.
  • I was recruited to serve as a Team Leader and Economist mainly for Baseline Assessment and Preparation of the Design for the Future Impact Assessment of the EZ-Kar Project.
  • I with my team reviewed relevant project documents, prepared and submitted an inception report, and a comprehensive work plan which were approved as proposed.
  • Reviewed and redesigned over impact indicators and evaluation questions and developed their data-frame for identification of data needs, data source, data collection method and instruments.
  • Designed and developed a comprehensive baseline assessment proposal with detailed sampling and research design.
  • Designed and developed six sets of data collection instruments, and field tested for their validity and reliability.
  • Designed, developed, and conducted a comprehensive hands-on training of trainers (TOT) on baseline data collection, data storage and simple descriptive analyses of quantitative data.
  • Used the set of instruments for collection of baseline data from treatment and comparison households and businesses in 13 targeted cities through 26 trained male and female enumerators.
  • Performed the descriptive and inferential statistical analyses of the baseline data and developed over 215 result tables with necessary graphical illustrations.
  • Completed and submitted the draft baseline report for approval.

  • Company Overview: The US Department of State/Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (US DoS/INL) implemented the Corrections System Support Program (CSSP) in Afghanistan since 2006.
  • Designed, established and managed an integrated Result-based Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System for CSSP while assisting in functional integration of three key components - Human Capacity Development, Infrastructure Capacity Development and Organizational Management Capacity Development.
  • Reviewed massive volumes of available documents, related USG policies and visited partner Afghan corrections institutions and ministries to understand the status of program interventions and their relevance to them.
  • Developed a strategy paper on monitoring and evaluating the functional integration of the three components of institutional capacity development of the Afghan correctional institutions and its resultant effects/impacts.
  • Prepared and submitted an inception report on operational strategy for establishing and managing the CSSP M&E system.
  • Reviewed the existing INL Program Performance Management Plan (PMP) and prepared and submitted a comprehensive review report with recommendations for improvement.
  • Revised the existing CSSP PMP, including Logic Model and Indicator Reference Sheets for each indicator which US DoS/INL approved with minor administrative comments.
