Working as a picker in an amazon fulfillment center is very fast-paced and physical, with a strong focus on speed and accuracy.

Most of the time, you work independently rather than constantly talking to others. There’s pressure to keep moving, especially during peak seasons like holidays when order volume is high.

• Helping customers find their style

You spend a lot of time on the sales floor approaching customers, asking what they’re looking for, and helping them build outfits

• Working the fitting rooms are a big part of the job. You check people in, keep track of items, and go back and forth grabbing new sizes.

• Working the register you ring people up, handle returns/exchanges, apply discounts, and sometimes promote rewards programs or credit cards.
