As an Intellectual Disability Teacher, I provide specialized support to students with intellectual disabilities within educational settings. Collaborating closely with special education educators, I implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. My responsibilities include facilitating one-on-one or small group sessions, assisting with classroom activities, promoting communication, and contributing to behavior management strategies. Through my dedication to creating an inclusive learning environment, I enhance the academic, social, and emotional development of students with intellectual disabilities.

As a cross-categorical special education paraprofessional, I provided support to the head teacher in managing and instructing students with a wide range of disabilities and needs. I performed various tasks, including curriculum development, instructional assistance, administrative work, and behavior management. Working closely with individual students who required one-on-one attention, I supported the head teacher in preparing and implementing instructional materials and reports. I assisted in maintaining a structured and positive classroom environment and helped manage student behavior, including intervening in crisis situations. Together with the head teacher, I provided a variety of instructional and developmental activities for students with different intellectual, physical, and emotional disabilities.
