• Medical-Surgical Trauma Unit - Expanded my clinical skills, inserted catheters, started IV's, administered medication via IV/PO/SQ/IM, performed EKGs and reinforcing education. Continued providing patient centered care to variety of patients.
• Endoscopic Unit - Assisted with a variety of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs, under the supervision of experienced nurses and physicians. Prepared patients for procedures, maintained, cleaned equipment, and provided emotional support.
• Emergency Department (ED)- Enhanced my critical thinking skills and gained hands-on experience within a fast paced environment.

• Labor & Delivery Unit - Assisted in labor support, neonatal care, and postpartum patient education. Observed and assisted in the management of natural/vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Medical-Surgical Unit - Assisted in administering medications under supervision, ensuring adherence to patient care plans. Maintained cleanliness and organization of patient areas, promoting a safe environment. Worked alongside experienced nursing professionals to learn new procedures.

• Medical-Surgical Unit - Provided direct patient care, assisted in the care of patients of all ages and with variety of medical conditions, including diabetes, heart failure, and pneumonia. Performed patient assessments, administered medications, monitored vital signs, collaborated with interdisciplinary teams and developed skills.
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)- Observed and assisted in managing critically ill patients.
• Emergency Department (ED)- Provided patient care, including wound care and developed skills in communication.

Assisted with patients ADLs including bathing, dressing, and feeding, patient assessments. Provided direct patient care and communicated patient's needs and concerns to the nursing staff.
