Kitchen aide volunteer-prepped food according to Patients needs-Puree juices, thickening aide for juices

volunteered with activities director with elderly games including colors, feeling activities soft to bumpy, and music

volunteered with one on on with patients, stories of a dementia patient Thelma Hicks who was an English teacher and I can tell she was the best one back then, I enjoyed the same stories and never got tired I would include her in activities like fresh air so she can enjoy the simple things she liked..

Many of the Patients at the nursing home had no family, and being a companion to disabled elderly brought me lots of joy and also hard moments.

From 2001 to present:

raised Two Kind, hard working, thoughtful, family oriented awesome kids.

my oldest is 22 has a career in home remodeling interiors, when he was 9 months old he had a life threatening disease called Kawasaki Disease

I educated myself in the disease to help him recover, medicine schedules, doctors appointments, cardiologist appointments, soothing my son during difficult times and asking doctors to help the process carefully all the doctors and nurses understood and were wonderful after 10 years and his hole in his heart closed and he's so aware and smart of his choices on his care.

My second son 21 is in college going for his 4 year, got excepted straight from high school, my son had to do speech therapy as a child and has grown out a lisp, we had tutors and academic helping him unlock his potential and build confidence that's its ok to not know and its ok to keep trying, my kids are 18 months apart and very close,

I am ready to start my path in my passion to care and be a companion to someone, Filling the need to continue in my path as a mother, wife, animal lover.

From 2021-current

I volunteer at Hopeville Family Ministries

My husband and I donated cans every Saturday to feed the less fortunate families, homeless

now because of holidays they needed extra hands so I jumped into help

Pastor Russell and Cathy Gordon are very dear close friends of mine

I've been knitting since i was 12 years old off and on 

after mastering it I added crocheting its the same concept except with a hook...

Now sewing is a bit different I'm a beginner it can be hard to sew straight in a line with a machine but i enjoy it

3 years ago I got a Pressure Cooker and started sealing jars of food especially meat

I love plants and watching them grow and gardening is fun to grow your own food and be so delicious

I love following recipes and cooking my favorite is when my family or friends ask for seconds or thirds!
