I know the changing jobs in short time span is not good. But hear me out. With my longevity at Swift Transportation for 22 years, I've proven I'm capable of staying at one job long-term. Swift was a nice company but I stayed there way too long. With my experience, I should have moved on and got something with better pay and benefits. So I left Swift for Walmart. It was a seamless transition, since I did Walmart dedicated at swift for so long. But Walmart did not pay what they advertised and said they would pay, and I was not going to get to be a local driver and home more like I thought. I didn't want to make the same mistake of staying somewhere I wasn't really happy with, so I left to try out Amazon. But working for independent owners was much different then working for a large established company. RPD lost the contract with Amazon so we all had to find another job. Seven strong would not pay me what was agreed upon and owner would not fix the discrepancy. Joyride promised time off at home but right after I started they would not give me a scheduled days off at home as promised. And hogan also did not have good home time. I left because swift said they had local openings but after calling them with recruiter and going thru hiring process they told me the positions went to current employees who transferred divisions. After so many years dedicating my life to the company, I feel I deserve, with my experience, a job that appreciates me and gives me the consistent pay and home time I'm looking for. Give me a shot, and you won't be sorry
