Contracted facility did not have pharmacy informatics support for some years. The mandate was to work with Pharmacy management and collaborate with other clinical departments to resolve issues, execute new and maintenance medication and orders build, and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Contributed to the design and build of PowerOders, PowerForms, MPages, Discern Alerts, mCDS, Therapeutic Substitution and Immunization Management.
• Resolved long-standing med process issues with pharmacy orders and dispensing including product dispense definitions, auto-verification, product selection, barcode scanning, dispense routing, printing, and suspended charges.
• Identified failed pharmacy charges and erroneous billing quantities as the result of an error in the outbound billing interface script, wrote the script code correction, planned and executed testing and validation.
• Rebuilt pharmacy bill items to update to current CMS standards and correct for HCPCS service codes and conversion quantities, including JW and JZ waste billing components, and replaced obsolete NDCs.
• Streamlined and corrected issues with Pyxis dispensing and charges.
• Collaborated with Revenue Integrity to correct and update their MedSeries4 Pharmacy Charge Master for claims processing.
• As a result, Revenue Integrity recovered over $1.2MM of previously lost revenue and continue billing correctly.
• Provided counsel to sister hospital informatics consultants for a conversion from AWP to acquisition pricing, and application and CCL audit scripts for assessing build and maintenance progress and missing components.

• As sole Pharmacy IT analyst, in collaboration with pharmacy departments, developed and built the entirety of the Millennium PharmNet foundation from the ground up for the first hospital implementation in early 2003
