  • Oversaw business development initially and then operations for Home Care Division of Stewart Health Care System (SHC), one of first Accountable Care Organizations (Pioneer ACO) approved by CMS. SHC consisted of an academic medical center in Boston and ten community-based hospitals, over 3,000 physician practices and an Accountable Care Organization serving 110 communities. Stewart Home Care grew to 11 branches in eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, with daily census of 1600 patients with budget of $26M.
  • Developed comprehensive business plan to enhance service programs and increase overall volume of business. Trained and supervised team of approximately 15 clinical liaisons/ case managers at Stewart healthcare facilities (acute, post-acute, rehab, outpatient clinics) who functioned as case managers to collaborate with facility case managers to ensure patients are treated at most appropriate setting to meet patients' goals.
  • Monitored key business risks and established risk management procedures. Educated leadership and staff in risk management procedures and emergency management plan.
  • Directed technological improvements, reducing waste and business bottlenecks. Developed multifunctional teams to evaluate and improve agency's policies and clinical and administrative procedures.
