  • Volunteer: Lawrence General Hospital Sept 1999-Sept 2005. Worked at reception, Emergency Room and as Patient Advocate for admitted patients.
  • Treasurer, Lawrence General Hospital Auxiliary Board: Reconciling accounts receivable and payable, recording donations for the hospital, writing checks, preparing bank deposits, presenting a copy of the Boards financials at monthly board meeting as well as meeting monthly with the Vice President of Finance to go over the financial report. Help run Breakfast with Santa, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, coordinated school tours of the hospital. Coordinated Career Day for middle school students in Lawrence. Organized presentations from various hospital departments outlining job descriptions and qualifications needed to become a doctor, nurse, lab tech, dietician, paramedic etc.
  • Newcomers Club of the Andover's: Secretary Sept 2003-June 2004. Took minutes of meeting and send them out to board members in a timely fashion.
  • Newcomers Club of the Andover's: President Sept 2004-June 2005. Presided over monthly meetings with a board of 12. Liaised with the different activity groups discussing what would make the club stronger and any new ideas they had. . Active membership and board recruitment, attending social functions within the club to meet new members and make them feel welcome and answer any questions they may have regarding the club and town. Overseeing budget. advertising ideas and social planning.
