- I am Whitley and I started showing livestock in the UBJLS Peewee Show in 2018. I showed goats for my 5 years as a Peewee and just started showing hogs last year in 2024. Last year was my first year as a Hog Showman and I loved it. I learned how to feed, water, bath, walk, and exercise my pig as well as how to show her in the ring.
- I am outgoing, hard working, and very dedicated to my Stock Show Life. I work very hard to make sure my show hog is always well taken care of. I am a member of the Jensen Better Livestock group, and I really enjoy my meetings.
- Last year, I won the Rate of Gain Contest at our banquet. I was very excited. I won a large blue ribbon for taking 6th overall showman in my showmanship division. I also placed at the top of my class in market. I was so excited that my hard work had paid off.
- This year, I am showing two hogs in market and showmanship. I am very excited and can't wait to see how we do.
- As well as 4-H, I am very interested in Volleyball and I play in the Rec League each year. It definitely builds my endurance and helps me to learn to work as a team player.
