Joceline Duque

I am a bilingual student with interdisciplinary interests. I am striving for a career as a civil engineer. I pride myself on being a well-rounded student and I have tried not to neglect any aspect of my character. Before coming to UCI, I dedicated my time to my academics, my creative interests, my leadership commitments, and college preparatory work. Since entering UCI my main focus has been academics, but I have also been involved in engineering-related activities such as OAI's summer bridge program where we were tasked with putting together a remote control car. As this project was done collaboratively, my main focus was solely designing parts to be 3D printed and laser cut in solidworks. I did not have any previous experience with the program, but I was determined to be of help to my team. Though I currently lack much experience, I am confident in my discipline and diligence. I am always open to learning and I will put in my best effort in order to ensure that my work is of quality.
