In my previous role at a Japanese company, I handled a comprehensive range of electrical and control system tasks. I interpreted and developed various electrical drawings, including hard, control, operation, and I/O diagrams, and worked extensively with HMI programming using the GOT Designer program. This involved creating and editing screens, adding bits and buttons, and managing work orders for preventative maintenance, such as integrating circuit relays for DC motors.

I was also proficient in PLC programming using Mitsubishi GX Works2 and GX Works3, where I wrote and edited logic to optimize machine performance. Additionally, I worked with older Mitsubishi FX programming for certain machines, making necessary edits and logic adjustments.

As a Maintenance Technician, I started each day with a team meeting at 8 AM, followed by grounds maintenance, which included picking up trash, inspecting the property, and reporting any issues to the property manager.

In addition to groundskeeping, I handled various make-ready tasks, such as painting, taping, floating surfaces, and cleaning the pool. At some properties, I performed make-ready tasks such as cleaning, painting, and prepping units, including checking appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures. As a Process Technician, I was responsible for maintaining and optimizing hydraulic presses and molds for injection molding machines, specifically from Cincinnati and Auburn. My duties included ensuring precise temperature control of the mold tooling, managing hot and cold water systems for mold cooling, and overseeing the resin melting process within the injection molding machines. I also handled work orders for mold changes and ensured product quality and accuracy throughout the production line.

Additionally, I was certified in crane and forklift operation, which allowed me to troubleshoot equipment effectively and maintain smooth production flow. I also ensured proper maintenance of machine oil levels and supported the overall efficiency and quality of the production process.

I specialized in maintaining and troubleshooting Eagle Delta Flow wrappers, ensuring the efficient operation of packing machines. I provided hands-on guidance to operators on film application, temperature control, and machine adjustments. My role also included the teardown and reassembly of production lines, adapting them for different products like cinnamon rolls and pound cakes.

In addition to packing machines, I was responsible for troubleshooting and replacing motors, working with VFD drives, and handling issues with spiral freezers, including maintaining and restarting refrigeration systems. I also supported the ultrasonic bread cutter for pound cakes and learned about the Matissta cutting machine, which used vibrations to separate the product.

Additionally, I performed preventative maintenance on the band ovens, including three ovens on site. This involved changing out the chain, igniting the ovens, and ensuring proper startup and temperature settings during production startup.

As a Maintenance Technician at Lone Star Bakery, I began as a machine operator, mastering the Shanklin, Matrix, and Triangle packaging machines. I oversaw the biscuit line, the puck line, and was responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining sensors, photoeyes, proximity switches, motors, and gearboxes.

I managed the flour silo system, directing delivery trucks to the correct silo and ensuring proper storage and flow of flour.

Every Sunday, I connected a hose to the milk tank, making sure it was properly attached to the production tank and mixing the milk with the pump to prepare it for Monday morning startup.

Additionally, I worked on mechanical pump systems, performing teardowns, replacing seals, and reassembling them for the icing used in the Whataburger cinnamon rolls.

I was also responsible for replacing biscuit cutters during product changes. This involved switching cutters when changing between products like Whataburger, Bob Evans, and Popeye’s biscuits, ensuring proper preparation, checking air lines, verifying that cutters were not bent, and making sure that air lines were clear of water or dough before installing them into the line.
