  • I started as a picker, then got trained and certified on a forklift and now I am an inventory control specialist
  • As an inventory specialist, my job is to close out all production work orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • I interact with several departments to effectively complete their work orders.
  • In this process, I have to input the time the order took to complete, verify the components used to make this order, and issue the quantities.

  • Completed an internship at Safe Harbor Crisis center to complete a victims advocate certification
  • My biggest task was to translate trauma-informed documents in spanish
  • I shadowed the victim advocates as well, particularly the court coordinator.I would help the court coordinator prepare court dockets
  • I would print out protection order court hearings a week in advance and note who is going to court, if they have a safe harbor advocate, and if they have counsel
  • On court day, I would check in petitioners and respondents, and check them in with the bailiff.

  • I interact and hang out with kids ranging from ages 7-12
  • The volunteers are in charge of supporting and playing with the kids by creating activities for them in order to help them cope with the hard times they are currently facing
