Currently, I work in a position where I encourage, motivate, tutor, and nurture scholars' academic goals and abilities. Naturally, I am a motivated leader, organized, and a self-starter.   • I work one on one daily with scholars to develop relationships and nurture their academic and social skills.
  • I work closely with the scholars and their families communicating to accomplish individual and academic goals.
  • I aid them in nurturing their academic skills as well as fostering the executive functioning skills they need to be well-rounded and successful in the classroom and in their futures.
  • We navigate through any barriers they may be having and fine-tune the areas which may be limiting their potential in ways that are creative, meeting them where they are.
  • I maintain data to show the different areas needed to provide a visual of the scholars' progress.
  • Greater than all of this, I take the foundation of my faith and beliefs to breathe life into every scholar I interact with.

Ministry Experience

  • Life Group Leader
    My husband and I lead a small weekly group of church members as an extension of the
    church. We do life together, sharpening one another, serving one another, being the
    hands and feet of God working to glorify Him by fulfilling the great commission. We
    nurture those who will become new leaders; disciples making disciples.
  • NEXT Class Facilitator
    I help lead our church’s Next step class that guides new believers on what the foundation
    of a relationship with Christ looks like. This includes, prayers, faith, baptism, and the love
    that we find in a relationship with Jesus.
  • Women’s Recovery Leadership
    I have worked with women in recovery, walking alongside them, encouraging them, and
    coaching them with tools established in faith as well as practical tools to stand firm while
    rebuilding their lives in sobriety.
  • Young Adult & Youth Leadership
    I help lead and provide support for the young adult, youth and children’s ministry in
    whatever capacity is needed.
  • Missions
    I have always been mission minded and directed that passion into local and domestic
    missions. Most recently, I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Nairobi,
    Kenya in partnership with World Hope and our church.
