• Assisted in the formation and certification of an independent, physician-owned ambulatory surgery facility.
• Performed high-quality endovascular, vascular ultrasound, and interventional radiology procedures while providing an unparalleled patient experience.
• Ancillary responsibilities included negotiating vendor contracts, purchasing and receiving, documentation of quality measures to ensure maximum reimbursement, and staff education.

Staff technologist responsible for performing cardiac catheterization, endovascular, and interventional radiology procedures in a busy hospital setting.

I gained valuable experience as a staff technologist working in the field of invasive cardiology and peripheral vascular intervention.

As a per diem radiologic technologist I was responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, patient care and management of patient records.

During this time I was employed by various hydroelectric companies to perform overhaul and repair of generators.

Enlistment in the U.S. Coast Guard provided me with the opportunity to experience the world while gaining valuable insight into many cultures and ways of life. In addition to the travel opportunities and adventure it also provided me with funding to obtain my goal of higher education as well as giving me time to mature and choose a career in which I felt I was making a difference in peoples lives. I was honorably discharged in August of 2007 upon completion of enlistment.
