  • As a licensed Assisted Living Director I have the responsibility of consistent oversight of all aspects of operation of a licensed facility. I am responsible for all operations and outcomes. It is vital to have consistent and collaborative oversight of all departments pertaining to and not limited to structure, training and education, functional ability, policies, rules and regulations along with open communication to ensure we uphold a compliant status in all areas as a Team at all times.   • Build a quality relationship with vendors and colleagues that come into the building to provide service to us and our residents.
  • I assist with Marketing to ensure census is maintained. It is important to start building a relationship with prospects immediately to create a sense of trust.. I like to make contact with potential prospects to provide them information, answer questions and set up tours. Another opportunity for me to show interest, build trust to create a more comfortable transition for them during their journey.
  • I will complete tours with prospects, this provides me opportunity to get to know their loved ones needs and preference's and then allows me to highlight on those items during the tour as a selling point. I will complete any reservation forms and provide preadmission paperwork to prospect via Docusign. At move in I will complete admission paperwork and complete all other administrative items that need to be completed to assure everything is in place and ready for move in on the administrative side. Follow up with Nurse's throughout move in process to make sure they have everything they need and are on track for perspective move in date to ensure a smooth transition for our prospect.
  • Collaborate closely with all departments as needed during any status change or need of a resident to ensure everyone is on the same page so we as a team can address the situation or need in a timely and organized manner.
  • Work closely with my Nursing department to oversee compliance and ensure resident services are in line with their current needs. Assist Nursing where and when needed within my credentials. Collaborate with nursing team to determine or discuss change in status, next steps, resident needs, new placement, care plan updates and strategizing creating and implementing new interventions when needed.
  • Track and oversee all required weekly audits and reports. Follow up when needed.
  • Keeping close oversight in Dietary and maintenance to ensure all areas are complying at all times according to regulations.

  • I complete compliance audits for 6 of our 10 Minnesota buildings.
  • This entails going into each building and completing an audit form in accordance with State Survey. This includes completion and compliance of staff files, licenses, required postings, MARRC reports, Grievances/ Complaint files, CLIA, annual education requirements, staff training, corrective actions and re education, documentation, Dietary and maintenance etc.. I then provide the completed audit to the Directors and provide feedback to them so the corrections can be made immediately to be prepared for State Survey.
  • Travel to other sites to train new Directors upon hire.
  • Interim as active Director in other buildings when needed during transitions.

Support in sister buildings when needed for Pre term , eviction meetings, Care conferences, etc...
