  • Oversaw workforce, quality control, accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, vendor relations, and public-facing operations.
  • Modernized restaurant infrastructure- improvements in physical site and electronically increased efficiency. Remodeled exterior and interior, added electronic menu boards, regularly audited and configured pricing, installed POS systems, highly regulated order of operations for all food and cleaning details, improved inventory management and vendor negotiations, sales tracking, intergraded online ordering, utilized quick books, excel and Microsoft for data tracking, analysis and benchmarking business trajectories. Founder & Program Architect – AED Boardwalk Program

AED Program

  • Conceptualized and built AED program for the Ocean City Maryland Boardwalk in 2020.
  • Identified a community-wide cardiac arrest risk along a high-density boardwalk, 2.6 miles long, serving 8+ million annual visitors.
  • Designed a population-level prevention program including risk assessment, phased deployment, maintenance planning, and expansion strategies which still function today in collaboration with the local Fire Department.


Hurdles and solutions- 2020

Presented funding proposal to municipal leadership; following denial, restructured the program into a donation-based model.

Presented restructure to the Fire Chief of OCFD, (now retired), in turn was granted approval, FD collaboration and support.


Created succession plan program, remains active, with yearly outreach for 100% donation-based units. Fire Department–maintains and manages units, at no additional cost.


5 year results-

Nine donated, installed, maintained units- each unit with weather proof alarm cabinet- at a estimated cost of $3500 +/- ( market fluctuations) each.

10 AED deployments in which 2 units were used for shocking patients, independent events, resulting in realtime, lifesaving measures and transport that would have otherwise resulted in delay of patient care and increased mortality probability.

  • During COVID-19 pandemic, identified avoidable exposure risks and workflow inefficiencies by approaching nursing manger with a plan to implement a quality workflow plan which included relocating ventilators and IV pumps outside patient rooms, using extended tubing and monitoring systems.
