Currently Division Classification Coordinator for the department. I serve was the Classification Coordinator for all the facilities in the Eastern Region. I serve as point of contact for these facilities to assist them and help with the questions they may have. In this position I review case that the facility may have questions and issues about. For the eastern region I serve as the final approval for promotions, retention, demotion, and placement of these offenders. Serve as the Directors Classification Committee Coordinator for Restrictive Housing for Control Purpose (RHCP) for select facilities. I serve as the High Security Maximum Control (HCON) Coordinator for all of the department. One of the facilities that fall under me is a diagnostic facility, in which I review and ensure proper placement of offenders. Monitor the daily activities of Central Prison Diagnostic Center.Review analyst initial reviews for proper placement in various custody levels. Review case manager's re-classification for appropriate placement and/or retention across multiple custody levels. Ensure that all the policies set forth by DPS and DAC are enforced. Monitor bed assignments for Central Prison. Review all new arrivals. Monitor the overall function and mission of the programs department; varying from case management/correctional counseling, classification, releases, home plans, transitions, controls, transfers, housing/bed management, recreation, incentive wage, Thinking for a Change (TFAC) and Risk Needs Assessments (RNA) for the facility. Serve on the audit team as needed—complete Step 2 response on Inmate Grievances via CTS. Answer various inmate letters via CTS. Complete NCVIP on staff. Complete multiple reports using OPSU, OPUS online, word, excel, and access. Fill in when the Associate Warden for Program is out. Assist with the Program Audit Team. Ensured that the facility conducted internal Program and Classification Audits. Served as the coordinator/monitor for the facility's SOPs. Ensured that programs that were started at a facility and that a SOP was developed for that program within the first year of the program. Address any changes that may be needed.
