Currently casually employed at Sanctuary Point Public school, I am looking for work in the field of classroom assistant

I hold a current First aid / CPR Certificate, Working with Children Check, and have completed all relevant requirements for work within the DOE, including my Dept number

As a mother of 4 boys, who all attended local schools, I feel I have experience to offer I currently work on a Thursday with a disabled client who I accompany to a literacy program in Nowra Im available the rest of the week

I love working within the school environment, seeing the children everyday and building a rapport with them I feel I have found purpose after retiring from a Hairdressing career after 40 years

I believe my skills of parenting boys with behavioral issues has added to my awareness of what these children need to find their place in a classroom and also to find inclusivity with their peers socially

Supporting the teachers in their endeavors to teach in a modern classroom environment is what I am passionate about

Being self employed, I am a very hard worker, have an eye for detail and am a self starter

I like to keep busy so am willing to partake in anything required of me, by the teacher or the school

I have a happy disposition and feel I can bring that to the classroom too I am empathetic, a great listener, valued friend and love being around people and children

I like to learn something new everyday and have been blessed so far at Sanctuary Point Public School with the opportunity to be around such dynamic, passionate humans
