In charge of hiring, training and guidance of FOH staff. Supervise and monitor Head Chef, Second Chefs and BOH staff to ensure cleanliness of restaurant and adherence to company recipes and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- daily safe and drawer counts and deposits
- input and verification of inventory counts
- ordering of food, alcohol and supplies within budgets
- resolving repair and maintenance issues
- labor forecasts and control
- meeting and exceeding sales goals
- resolution of staff issues and concerns
- plan and conduct educational workshops and contests for staff
- EcoSure and Health Department compliance
- customer complaints and resolutions
- onboarding and scheduling of FOH staff
- constant guest interactions to make sure all guest experiences are above and beyond par.
I have helped increase sales, as well as employee and guest satisfaction. I am ServSafe certified plus Level 2 certification. I have been the "interim General Manager" three times while in management and my restaurant has continued to thrive and prosper despite management shortages. Sales have almost doubled vs 2020 (before CoVid restrictions were put in place). I, as sole manager and while interim GM, also won our national award for having the most staff to return to their positions after CoVid restrictions lifted to reopen restaurants to dine-in.
