First and foremost I am 40 years old family man. Who is looking not just for another job, but a potential career. I've worked all of my adult life. I started working for a horse farm for $5.00 and mucking stall. Not the the most glamourios job, but I enjoyed it. I loved working with the horses, but because of the low pay I only did it for a couple of years. I left there to venture out on my own in Handyman repair. While employed as a handyman I gained a lot of my skills listed on the prior page of my resume. I stayed working as a handyman until I was offered a job in landscaping. It didn't really pay more, about the same pay than the handyman position, but it offered good benefits and I was able to gain even more experience and skills. I stayed working for Agri-Sod landscaping until I met a man named James Butcher. He owned Thoroughbred Fencing and he offered me a job constructing fences and much better pay, so I gave my two weeks notice to Agri-Sod and went to work for Mr.James Butcher at Thoroughbred Fencing. I gained all the skills accompanying to fencing on the previous page of my resume. I really enjoyed doing this line of work and continued working there until last year. The company wasn't doing as well anymore and the owner; which I mentioned above James Butcher stopped paying his employees, so he left us no choice but to seek new employment. That's when I applied for Express temporary service in Richmond KY. They hired me for the position of contractor/Assembly line worker for Hyster/Yale in Berea KY. Express went out of business 6 months ago, so Hyster/Yale had us hired on through they're own temporary service which residents inside their factory. It's called Peak Technical Services, and I truly enjoyed working inside Hyster/Yale. To be more specific I worked on the line installing the wiring in their Forklifts. The laid me off the 3rd of April, so I'm now on the hunt for employment again. As I touched on in the beginning of this letter I would love to find my forever career. I'm a hard and reliable worker. When I'm employed I am very dedicated and have good work ethic. I feel as if anyone who hires me will be lucky to have me. Thank you for your time and consideration.
